TRUSTED eSAFETY PROVIDER

THE PLAYGROUND CRAZE are proud to be endorsed by the Esafety Commissioner as a Trusted esafety provider

This endorsement, part of the Trusted eSafety Provider Program, helps schools identify top-quality cyber safety programs that meet rigorous standards. It ensures that schools can confidently select external providers backed by the eSafety Commissioner’s approval, demonstrating expertise and effectiveness in teaching online safety.

The Playground Craze presents vibrant music and theatre programs that encourage students to develop responsible digital habits. Using hip-hop music and trending dance styles, each energetic performance captivates young audiences and fosters a fun, open atmosphere that makes it easy for students to absorb vital messages about online safety. Each incursion is paired with a Q&A session where students can discuss key ideas, and teachers receive curriculum-aligned resources to continue the dialogue on online safety, cyberbullying, seeking help, and making responsible choices online.

eSafety serves as Australia’s independent online safety regulator. Their mission encompasses educating Australians about online safety risks and intervening to remove harmful content. This includes addressing issues for young people such as cyberbullying, inappropriate content, privacy, screentime and the unauthorised sharing of intimate images or videos. Through their efforts, they strive to create a safer online environment where individuals can engage without fear of harassment or exploitation.

Even younger students need to know about digital safety, before they encounter any issues online. The Best Practice Framework for Online Safety Education recommends that eSafety education should begin early and target younger students, corresponding with ages that children enter online environments.
